Born in a remote village Mathrun, Dist. Purba Barddhaman, West Bengal in 1959. Early education in New Delhi. Moved to Calcutta in 1970. School : Patha Bhavan , Kolkata. Graduation, Post-graduation and B.Ed from University of Calcutta. Research Fellow in ICMR project at Calcutta School of Tropical Medicine. Studied at Isotope Division, BARC, Trombay. Self employed.
Passionate about Photography for over 50 years, since school days. Studied at Photographic Association of Dum Dum. Use both Analogue and Digital cameras. Experience of Processing Films and Silver gelatin printing in Dark Room.
