Poems and Writings have been published in different Bengali magazines. A novel was published in an online magazine. Presently part of editorial board of ‘Aparjan’ magazine. Was associated with ‘Baak’ as a sectional editor for ‘This Month’s Poet’. Five published books to credit, viz, ‘Peet Collage-e Nilabja’ (Nilabja in Yellow Collage), ‘Gulmohur… Repeat Hochchhe’ (e-book) (Gulmohur… repeating), ‘Prachchhadshilpeer Bhoomikaay’ (As a Cover-Artist), ‘Lekhak Kortrik Prakaashito’ (Published by the Author) & ‘Apnar Burger Aro Majadar Baniye Tulun’ (Make your Burger more spicy). Translated poems of Shyamal Singha, Sajal Bandyopadhyay & Dhiman Chakraborty earlier.

POEMS OF PRABIR ROY

Prabir Roy Born in 1952, Roy, an electrical engineer by profession, became a permanent resident of Jalpaiguri by choice and by love. Address – Shyamalchhaya, Ukilpara, Jalpaiguri. He was associated with “Sanhato kabita” (compact poetry) movement. Prabir Roy’s first book “Magic LanThon” (Magic Lantern) was published in 1980. Roy was involved with “Erka” and “Ekhon” magazines.
